In Altman’s O.C. & Stiggs, the two main characters got it right, demanding that their ride be fashioned to disgust and annoy as many people as possible. They intended this — and knew how it would be received!

I’m not saying I like this example, but it is the first time I didn’t dislike one of these cybertrucks. I feel like tacky 90s neon aesthetic really compliments the lines.

Last weekend at Home Depot, I was lucky enough to watch a man struggling to find a way to load sheets of plywood and 2x4s into the back of his cybertruck. If there is a technique for carrying lumber, he sure didn’t know about it.

Sad how few people know that the perfect vehicle for this (and most other tasks) is the humble minivan.
