Yeah, well my crushing disillusionment knows no bounds. I expected the definitive documentary on the Modular Autonomous Numeric Integrator And Computer, the long-rumored (and still ultra-secret) early 1950’s successor to ENIAC.

[ETA: Oops! Didn’t mean to malign MANIAC I, developed in 1952 at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. Though they did select a decidedly more pedestrian acronym.]
