The Trump-Kim commemorative coin now commemorates Trump's disastrous handling of the North Korea talks

Oh, definitely. Apparently he doesn’t even know how to read a balance sheet. The fundamental basics of business are beyond him.

Bet daddy paid someone to take all his classes at Wharton, maybe the first time he stepped on campus was to get his purloined diploma.

How great would it be if the actual coin turns out to be a wooden nickel.

It’s clear that the moves towards peace on the Korean peninsula are mostly the result of actions by the Korean people, not the Americans. The bad-faith actor in this situation is the foreign occupier that has maintained the war for seventy years.

The concession that Kim was overtly asking for was “stop constantly threatening to invade North Korea”.

I’ve read some things that hinted it was almost that bad. He’s repeatedly claimed he was top of the class, but actually received no honors at all. (Fellow students said he was unprepared for study groups and only seemed interested in real estate.) He’s also talked about not cheating off other students because he thought they were so dumb. Given the gap between the reality of situations he recounts and his version, that means he was cheating and he was the stupid one.

And the US response, to which DPRK (mildly) objected was to constantly bring up Libya, i.e. “we get rid of the nukes then help destabilize the country, causing the leader to be murdered horribly and the country thrown into chaos.” Followed by the US response of, “Why are you getting hostile when we talk about Libya? Libya. Libya. Libya.”

Let’s be fair, if it had gone as badly as Bolton was trying for we might not be having this conversation, unless we were in the same fallout shelter.

Yeah, Bolton knew. Trump knows fuck-all, and Pence probably isn’t any better. but Bolton knew. This is the problem when the only guy who knows what he’s doing is also fucking crazy.

Give him time.
