These 20 EDC items are definitely worth the daily carry

The only Q I want to work into this is from the Continuum!

Did you never watch the show?

He’s worse than QAnon people! He’s omnipotent, and just like them, ignorant of what good humanity looks like. Neither can take a hint either when they aren’t wanted

Some of these give me a few project ideas for when I get access to a machine shop again, but don’t seem worth buying. :man_shrugging:

I noticed that many of the keychain multitools had options like knife blades that probably would not pass a TSA inspection. Imagine holding up the line while you remove each of your keys so TSA can confiscate your weapon so you can catch your flight.

Its only happened to me once, and I am fairly sure I would have lost my keys if they had been attached to the tool which I had taken off me.

Q was an invention of the later movies, so there is also no Q in ANY of the Fleming books.

I don’t like stirring drama but the Skill Master key tool in this article is a knockoff of Geekey’s keytool design (in fact Geekey’s tool was covered previously by BB).

Since I’m sorta on the topic already, I do some light edc that’s mostly focused on the keychain. For a flashlight I use Nitecore’s Tube 2.0 light. 65 lumens in a compact, rechargable package. For tools I use a basic Doohickey from Nite Ize you can find at any national car parts store and a titanium screwdriver bit that attaches to your keyring (that also pokes into your leg sometimes) from Big Idea Design. I’m thinking about replacing both of them with the upgraded Doohickey+ because it kinda combines both functions while also including twine cutting teeth and a staple puller.

Every Day Carry - that’s EDC!

Yeah, but why have one task-specific thingy on your keychain when you can have TWO task-specific thingies on your keychain? PROGRESS!

For low cost, versatility and compactness, it’s hard to beat this little wonder, the only thing that’s on my keyring other than keys.

Not only that, but how could you chain things together if you only had one thing?

It’s keychains, keychains all the way down.

I discovered today that it also stands for Electric Daisy Carnival.

Which, during a search for “EDC Instagram” almost got me in trouble with my wife.

I won’t be googling that, then. No idea what it is, though.
