There are 100s of these on Amazon; they all use Wifi.
Why not connect directly to the iPhone?
Being tethered to a Wifi hotspot reduces its use immensely.

Well, it’s (finally) not being referred to as an “endoscope,” so… no.
What’s the maximum focal length of this scope? All the ones I’ve seen in this price range have such a short focal length you can’t see very far past the lens.

These things are usually dirt-cheap optical sensors for QA or process control. They have a fixed focal length of <5mm. Also, you’re making a fool out of you paying more than 10 bucks for one. And make sure they bring lighting with them as they’re useless without.

You can already do that with an iPhone tethered by a sturdy cord. Granted there is some difficulty with the entry … but after the first few feet it gets a lot easier. Battery-wise, use the rule of thirds employed by cave divers. One-third for exploration, one-third for the return trip, and one-third in reserve.
