Well, for them, it’s about doing harm in order to keep those they view as lesser than in their place. Their cause is not to reveal the inner workings of power so that we can make a better society, it’s about reinforcing a hierarchical system, because they feel as if they are natural at the top of that system.

I remember the bad old days when Richard Green would stop your treatment if you were seen in trousers. We worked hard to stop that when he retired. I have no desire to go back to that, and I am a woman regardless of whether I am in a football shirt and tracksuit or a skirt and blouse.

They “believe” whatever slur hurts trans people. They recycle whatever slurs are used against other groups, lie and like their far right partners- it’s good so long as it moves towards eliminating trans people. It’s not belief in any of those tactics- it’s belief in the outcome they want. Trans kids dying is a feature not a bug. Working with far right men in eliminating trans people is good- even if you’re supporting misogyny and racism.
