District Judge Amy Clark Meachum said the governorâs directive for the state child welfare agency to investigate parents who provide gender-affirming care to their children was âbeyond the scope of his authority and unconstitutional.â The statewide injunction will remain in effect until the case is heard in July.

Detransition promotion is an attempt to exterminate trans people. The entire process of transition is to determine if and what kind of transition is appropriate for you at that point in your life. A very, very few people do detransition - often as a response to the discrimination they experienced due to transphobia. Not that transition was a mistake. Though it is, of course, the right decision for that small group of people who the transition process helped to determine where their life path was.
One person I knew had transitioned for 20 years and went back to presenting as male at work because they couldnât get a job for 20 years. They regretted the discrimination- not transitioning.

Rowling has chosen to ally herself with people like Governor Abbott, Tucker Carlson and the âAlliance Defending Freedomâ. Who see demeaning and disenfranchising trans people as part and parcel of the destruction of womenâs rights and choice.
How she tarts that up as protecting women is an indicator of her hate towards women she wishes to eliminate.
