This is something that canât be said often or forcefully enough: legislative attacks on trans people harm families. And it will be said as long as those behind the attacks claim theyâre doing it because of âfamily valuesâ.
Iâm a cis guy but trans people are my family and friends. We are not divided by our differences and those who attack one of us will face the wrath of all of us.

My guess would be a significant amount. Anecdotally, Iâve seen this happen in certain left leaning online communities â people who were very cynical towards the DNC went from being supportive of social justice, down a path that led to abandoning that support in favor of punishing corporate Dems without any thought regarding the real world implications.

No guess as to how many may have detransitioned due to the intense pressure of family and friends to âgive it up and make us comfortable, even if it kills you.â I am sure some just donât find a comfortable fit in that âbox,â but given the pressure to conform, I am equally sure some just couldnât take the pressure and isolation.
