Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. They’ll be ceremonies around the country to commemorate those lost to anti trans hate violence.
I hope everyone one of my folks will take some care for their safety today. There’s a lot of violence being fomented against us and they might possibly see this commemoration as a target. Or try to disrupt them.

Prospective studies have reported that gender dysphoria in children is more heavily linked to adult homosexuality than to an adult transgender identity, especially with regard to boys.[23][24][25] The studies state that the majority of children diagnosed with gender dysphoria did not desire to be the other sex by puberty, with most growing up to identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual, with or without therapeutic intervention.[18][19][21][22][26]
