“ Two gunshot victims were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where one person remained Wednesday with a gunshot wound to the chest, Blue Island Police Chief Geoffery Farr said in a statement.

Another person drove himself to a hospital for a graze wound and was discharged, he said.

The officer and another person were arrested at the scene, Farr said. A weapon was allegedly recovered.

An employee who answered the phone at the bowling alley said the officer had been with a party that was doing karaoke in a lounge area. A general manager was among those wounded, according to the employee, who said the manager was struck in the hand but is now at home “relaxing.”

That’s some fine candidate screening Lou.

I’m sure the pseudo-progressive crocodile tears from ammosexuals about this rule being unfair to PoC and poor people who want to own firearms will not be far behind.

Strange how they don’t get worked up in the same way about mandatory insurance on cars (which are not purpose-designed to wound and kill mammals).

“meanwhile some people remain so angry at police for whatever reason that they interrupted a news conference,” said the white male host.

#!?$!

( edit: worth noting that one of those incidents involved the police shooting and killing someone. the other one sounds like a homeowner shot at and killed people protesting against police violence. )

hell, im agitated right now.

( though i can’t totally tell why someone is attributing donald trump quotes to their city mayor. it seems wheeler’s bad enough without pretending to more. )

Well, this is kind of a “portland problem.” Our police are inefficient, our city government is set up to fail, the mayor doesn’t really have any power, and the whole system is still too tightly tied to the incredible racism in oregon.

More children dead but firearms remain accessible to just about any American. Ammosexuals respond: worth it!

Translation: he killed his ex-wife and children because he couldn’t have unfettered access to them anymore.

Toxic masculinity, killing women and children since…forever.

Worse. He killed his 3 kids and the CPS worker chaperoning the supervised visit. His ex-wife had a restraining order on him. Wonder why? The mother is left with this memory. Holy shit, what a monster.
