So this is happening right now. A minute ago it was still ongoing, the State Police said they were negotiating. So far only one victim taken to the hospital.

One of the teens shot in this incident was declared dead this morning. According to the newspapers, the boy who commited the crime was victim of bullying and decided to get revenge.
This type of crime was not common in the country. I don’t know what caused these shootings to start happening here. But it seems that the change in legislation that allowed easier access to weapons, may have facilitated this school shooting in Ceará. The boy took a gun that belonged to a relative.

Sounds like the last straw may have been when the district was found to have hired a school resource officer who was already under investigation for her inaction during the massacre when she was a state trooper.
