It does. It’s been awhile since we’ve been, it was years ago for a school trip when the kid was in elementary school.

I visited a family friend down there ages ago, I think I was 19 or so. She took me to the park and I never even knew there was a big racist carving on the rock. It was just a lovely place to be. Must’ve been on the other side the whole time. Glad to have missed it.

Yeah, you can’t see the carving from the high way that runs past it, and if you go around the back to the trails you’ll miss it.

Fair enough, thanks for doing work i didn’t want to and correcting my inadvertent misinformation, well thats a bummer I have used that “fact” to turn some options around on Islam, but I won’t tell my dad if you don’t

If someone believes that people shouldn’t serve in office because of their religion, you can just point to the part of the constitution that explicitly deals with that, such as the establishment clause. If that’s not good enough for them, they probably don’t fully agree with our founding documents and how they’ve been interpreted over the past couple of centuries.

Yeah, the whole swearing-of-oaths things is ritualized nonsense. If your word is no good it doesn’t matter how much bullshit you strew around your promise.
