It distresses me to no end to contemplate this but Palin actually had far more relevant experience than Trump. She served as a city council member, a two-term mayor, a state commissioner and half a term as a state governor. A pretty light resumé for a potential President to be sure, but Trump is the first potential President with no record of public service at all.
Indeed.
I’d disagree.
With Palin you have simple ignorance and hate. Whilst terrible, it is at least possible to predict her actions.
With Trump, you have a horrible mix of ignorance, ego, psychopathy and a massive helping of hatred… He’s utterly unpredictable. What is his policy line today is highly unlikely to be that of yesterday, or tomorrow…
That is what makes Trump the most legitimately scary prospect in my lifetime… Literally he’s someone that cannot even comprehend that a nuclear strike on other countries might be a bad move and would be fully willing to do that on a snap decision without any regard at all to the consequences of that…
?Pero?
OK, but that’s stretching the definition of “potential President.” He never had a realistic shot at beating either of the major parties.
