No, I think he just sees them all as Israelis who somehow have the ability to vote in our elections. He would never refer to Michael Higgins as “your President” when addressing a group of folks in Boston who were of Irish decent.

I’m reading Rachel Maddow’s “Prequel”, about 1920s and 30s era American fascists. They all seem kindred spirits of Trump.
Read that one a couple months back. As the title implies, it’s all too terrifyingly familiar. I shudder to think how much deeper a foothold fascism would have had in America if the United States hadn’t been forced to take an active role fighting the Nazis after 1941.
