Trump blabbed about response to North Korean missile launch in the Mar A Lago dining room while diners listened in

The answer, as always, is still:

It is absolutely impeachable under normal circumstances. The thing you’re not realizing (edit: I say this rhetorically, you may well!) is that we are CURRENTLY in the midst of a Constitutional Crisis, as the Republicans are refusing to uphold their vow to defend The Constitution. Literally the majority of the party’s leadership is utterly corrupt, and I can only imagine the GOP itself could probably be dismantled due to racketeering, corruption, treason, and probably a litany of other things.

I happen to think this is either going to end in nuclear war, or if we’re lucky, an American version of The Velvet Revolution. I have a difficult time imagining too many other scenarios at this point. Which is fine for me, I remembered the true nature of reality, and thus things have much less impact once you remember such things. If anything they take on a carnival-ride type of quality! But I can only imagine how stressful all of this must be, if you haven’t remembered that fun stuff.

I would TRADE this administration for the Dubya administration, however. Which is truly and utterly a bizarre thing to type, as well as genuinely believe.

Oh and here’s my prediction for the day: It might end up being the massive dam collapse in California, which will literally cause instant and massive water shortages for the entire state (possibly the worst disaster in recorded history, like Mad Max level of bad shit), and the Trump administration’s utter failure to respond (they are currently failing to proactively help with the problem, by refusing to declare a national emergency) might be what triggers the revolutionary action of the public at large (my Velvet Revolution scenario).

Now, the biggest question mark is, how will all of this be compounded if they ALSO end up triggering a war with Iran, and even possibly a nuclear etc. war with North Korea.

I think we’ll know inside of 30-90 days at most.

One thing a lot of people also don’t realize is that Trump and many folks in his administration are Archons, and they are literally trying to cause all of these things I describe. It’s not at all by accident or due entirely to incompetence. They are TRYING to trigger The End Times (as that is the job of the Archons).

Anyone following me at all, just out of curiosity? Raise your hand if so – it’s all starting to unfold more quickly, and we need to begin being more public than we’ve been in the past. NOW.

You get used to it. The resulting nihilism cripples your ability to form relationships and guts your motivation to work towards whatever you might have once aspired to, and food all tastes like cardboard, and you wake up crying in the middle of the night, and every sunrise is broken by the passing fear that it’s actually a bomb, but you get used to it.

You know how some people were saying before the election that Trump didn’t actually want the job, but to see if he could get it? Is it possible/probable/likely that this is another example of that, enacted in real life? As in, he incites outrage (“muslim” travel ban) then continues to flout laws (alternative facts, Spicer, Conway, Ivanka clothing line kerfuffle), then does this egregious and massive national security breach in order to further emphasise his lack of presidential ability.

No? Just incompetence and stupidity then.

That’s a pretty big cat. We’re going to need a bigger bell.

I know we have a Dominionist (Pence); what I don’t know is if we’re dealing with premillennial dispensationalists (Rapture wonks whose idea of a good LARP is Left Behind) or post-milliennialists (must provoke Jesus into coming down here.) My guess is they want to believe in premillennialism, and hope they’re in the select ones to disappear, but can’t bring themselves to believe it and are aiming at post.

So I find them all ridiculous (and running a poorly thought out home brew, if we’re using the Christianity Player’s manual) , but Pres are much safer to deal with. Because they deeply believe in the concept of not knowing the day nor the hour, and that eternity cannot be triggered.

On the issues of Iran/NK war… If you’re not listening to Arms Control Wonk, now might be a good time to start. If you can find dark humor in arms control, they’re good for it. The (slightly less crappy) thing that I’ve taken away is that we’re mostly dealing with conventional weapons from both countries. Which is awful, because they’re both pretty good at making conventionals, so their regional neighbors are going to get smacked, and we’re looking at potentially dirty bombs, but neither have ICBMs (which are expensive and really require solid fuel rockets, which to the best knowledge, neither have) and it doesn’t make a lot of sense to use even small nukes nearby. Which is not to say Lil Kim wouldn’t toss a badly made single nuke at Japan or Seoul, but the fact that Old Kim, Big Kim and Lil Kim have never even tossed a lot of conventionals (which actually work just as well for what they’re trying to do) says they get better ROI on the threats and keeping their country as is. (Neither has the skill/facility for mass production of hot weapons.)

Per the treaty with Iran, they can test missiles. The treaty is all about nuclear proliferation, not missile proliferation.

But… one battle won. Flynn can now go collect Wingnut Welfare. Mattis has faults, and he can be hawkish, but he’s not a PMD, not a Dominionist. He’s not going to play their game. Batter up? Mango Mendacity on emoluments/Russia, which takes down Bannon. We got one down in 3.5 weeks, with a lot of hooks into the inner circle. I think we can pull that via the Flynn fallout, plus GAO and CIA.

And the Oroville dam is tenuous, but stable for the moment, and they’ve got plans to get it under control. It’s definitely watchful waiting, but it’s looking less likely to catastrophic. (California can handle it, if need be, without FEMA. But that will absolutely push towards the separationist arguments.) Send the weather further east; the Colorado River watershed has spare capacity, and the Platte and Arkansas are running low, too.

Thanks for cheering me up. Ironically, it’s sad that your post could possibly seem cheerful, yet here I am, somewhat cheered.

I am disappointed but not surprised that Trump didn’t meet with his cabinet on this before discussing it with the Japanese.

Yeah – I was one of those children who learned how to duck and cover under our desks at school. When we moved to the West Coast, I used to listen to the troop planes overhead flying to Vietnam and wonder whether the Russian planes could reach San Jose.

I thought I was done with all that shit.

Then he is an amateur at getting sacked. I personally know people who did a better job than Trump.
