Yeah, it certainly will. If we can defeat him in November, those cases will go forward unhindered, and this will inform those…

He’ll be able to vote in Florida. As long as he’s not actually incarcerated.

What’s maddening is Trump is convicted of falsification of business records to cover up another violation. Most likely federal campaign finance laws, a felony, as Mr. Cohen is now keenly aware.

That so many people are ready to move forward with electing someone who has almost certainly violated our election and campaign laws is hypocrisy of the highest order. This coming from a campaign that accused their opponents of a “rigged” election in 2020, and accused his opponent in 2016 of violating laws that he himself has shown he doesn’t understand (18 USC 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information)

But we know accusing your opponents of the things you have done yourself is a very old playbook for fascists.

Newsweek:

Countries around the world implement stringent entry requirements to protect their citizens and maintain national security. According to the World Population Review, G7 nations Canada, the United Kingdom and Japan have established policies that prohibit entry to individuals with felony convictions. Additionally, Israel and China also impose such bans. These regulations often result in automatic denial of visas or entry permits to convicted felons, potentially impacting Trump’s ability to travel internationally.

Based on data from the World Population Review, here is a list of countries that do not allow convicted felons to enter:

  1. Argentina
  2. Australia
  3. Canada
  4. China
  5. Cuba
  6. India
  7. Iran
  8. Israel

  10. Kenya
  11. Macau
  12. New Zealand
  13. South Africa
  14. Taiwan
  15. United Kingdom
  16. United States

Additionally, there are further countries that Trump may now be denied entry to. Not all countries actively check from criminal records at the border, but they will deny entry if a convicted felon is discovered. The following countries implement this:

  1. Brazil
  2. Cambodia
  3. Chile
  4. Dominican Republic
  5. Egypt
  6. Ethiopia
  7. Hong Kong
  8. Indonesia
  9. Ireland
  10. Malaysia
  11. Mexico
  12. Morocco
  13. Nepal
  14. Peru
  15. Philippines
  16. Singapore
  17. South Korea
  18. Tanzania
  19. Tunisia

  21. Ukraine

But do you think they’ll have heard that about him?

I don’t see Russia on those lists, but he’d be an utter idiot to think he’d be safe there.

So, I guess that’s where he’ll try to go (being an utter idiot, and all).

That headline shows the extent to which Trump and the Republicans have debased American political culture. Can you imagine, in the era Before Trump, a candidate not only refusing to quit after a conviction but benefiting from it?

Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey. When you buy into his lies, it never ends well for you. It didn’t save you at the election, and it won’t save you here.

Yes, it undermines the conviction that a rich white guy will always get away with it.

On the bright side Trump, unlike Biden, will use the majority of his funding on legal fees.

When Trump is convicted in her own state soon :crossed_fingers: , will she be in favor of preventing all federal funds to Georgia?
