Not to mention that this video right here right now is on Trump’s continuing campaign tours of the United States as president. I believe they are even using campaign funds for some of these in order to lock the press out.
Obviously you aren’t happy with how this turned out. We live in a democracy, so the law is supposed to be for you, and it makes sense to be angry when rulings come down that don’t seem right. But judges are there to interpret the law, even if the law is a bad law. You have as much right as anyone else to an opinion on how things should be, but if you feel strongly about it you need to write to your representatives in congress and tell them to change the law so that the law supports the outcome you want.
I didn’t support Trump, but on the one thing he was totally right about is that we couldn’t just keep going the way things were. We couldn’t have 8 more years of politicians selling out and ignoring the people who elected them. That’s one of the reasons I felt disappointed by this travel ban. It was wishy-washy politics as normal. Create gridlock and blame it on the other guy. He said during the election he’d ban Muslims, but instead he banned people from seven countries. Why countries instead of Muslims? Political correctness?!?
Right now the constitution doesn’t allow a Muslim ban because it treats all religions equally. But instead of telling Congress to do something, or getting a constitutional amendment to allow it, he tried to take a shortcut and he got shut down by the courts. Sixty million Americans elected him to ban people of a certain religion from the country, he needs to take the steps necessary to do that, and he needs to make those do-nothings in congress do what he says.
If Trump can’t make Paul Ryan do what he wants, then I don’t even know what he’s doing in the Oval Office. Trump needs to do something about these RINOs who are blocking his agenda by holding onto political correctness and not wanting to offend anyone. If they had any guts they’d introduce a bill to declare that Islam isn’t a religion, then Trump could sign the travel ban he wants to sign and the courts would have to uphold it.
[In other words, “Let’s you and him fight”]

You would be correct if there was any kind of actual code regarding their behavior. These guys really don’t seem like they’re going to be concerned with any uniform code or they’d have to take those covers off when they walked inside.

I wonder if the courts wouldn’t find that a law declaring Islam to not be a religion, is unconstitutional?
If the courts ever had to actually rule on that, I think America would pretty much already be over.
But if Trump was calling out Ryan for being a RINO because he refused to introduce/support that law?
It would be a terrible situation in reality, but the secret accelerationist in me is giddy at the idea.
