Trump has COVID-19

Ooh ooh ooh… here’s a good idea to keep seniors safe… tell everyone to wear a mask when they’re out and about. The advice would be more effective if the president told everyone to do that.

She’s already had it once.

Someone was going to say it, and Republicans were going to jump on it regardless of who said it.

Remind me how many times did Republicans say that about Obama again? How many times was Psalm 109:8 quoted?

I agree.

I do think that the Bannons, Stephen Millers, Pompeos in the crew are aspirationally Machiavellis. His handlers are acting Machiavellis to his Medici.

Perhaps Our Beloved Leader was right. If he hadn’t been tested he wouldn’t have the 'rona!

Occam’s razor, you’re probably right. Still, nothing surprises me anymore.

Based on having seen the quality of both the artwork painted on the ceilings of the Uffizi and the overall design of trump properties, I’d say this is an appropriate metaphor.

Good lord, her account is like the worst kind of parody account. The cognitive dissonance is deafening. In another tweet she claims that T and the White House followed ALL recommended safety protocols, and he still got it, so that proves that masks are useless virtue signaling. :woman_facepalming:t4:

Is it still all fake news? Going to go away like a miracle? Or will the administration finally start treating it like a real thing?

I was going to say “thoughts and prayers”. But now that we have evidence that they actually work, maybe I shouldn’t.

But that would still imply Trump was willing and able to follow instructions in the service of a Machiavellian scheme. A scheme cooked up by someone Trump considered an inferior supplicant, no less.

This is all too clever by half, I think. The outbreak is real.

That doesn’t mean their responses are any less disingenuous or Machiavellian however. We should all remember that the Reichstag fire was after all a real fire that the Nazis didn’t set, but took full advantage of.

My one big question: Did the entire family already know they were all infected when they made a huge point of going to the debate mask-less, despite all of them agreeing to wear masks as a condition of them being there? Were they deliberately trying to spread it to Jill Biden? Much like Jared’s wonderful ploy of refusing to help the states at the beginning of the pandemic, because democrat states were getting hit the hardest, and he (or the administration) was hoping to kill a lot of democrats off as a political strategy? (going so far as to actually steal shipments of PPE the states ordered, in order to stop the states from containing the spread)

Why? He’s already had it. He can’t get it again. If he figures that out, he’ll care even less.

The “different situation” is, presumably, a state of absolute denial of reality.

I didn’t even know that until now, but that alone should have been reason enough to cancel that debacle. What’s the point of having terms of engagement if there is no enforcement???
And the messaging shouldn’t even be about the specifics of the masks. It’s that their team agreed to a certain set of conditions, then did not meet them. Period.

Our Hopes and Prayers are with the President.

Biden should go on National TV and declare, " I promise to never again use the word “Smart” when referring to Donald Trump."
