Thanks for that. In addition to the dose of Tums for my today’s heartburn, I like this graphic from the article:
Not sure if you’re serious or not, but there’s no proof of long term immunity at this time.
I mean, hedging against extremely remote odds is kinda the point of these planes. So I think it’s quite possible that they were sent up in preparation for the announcement but I also think it’s not a big deal because that’s just routine precautions.
Sounds like sickness is guaranteed.
Define ‘best’.
I agree; while it’s easy to fall into the “if Trump says it, it’s a lie” mindset Occam’s razor says that Trump’s illness is simply the predicable and logical outcome of his unwillingness to protect himself and others from the virus.
With so many other prominent Republicans inside and outside the White House getting sick why wouldn’t we believe that Trump would fall ill to the pandemic he has done so little to contain?
Well at this rate there won’t be anyone left to run against this November.
Frankly, I’m only surprised that it took him this long to get infected.
Maybe when you get that self-important, you imagine yourself as being “too big to fail.” Like the historical narrative cannot favor a timeline wherein you catch Covid, since history is somehow molding itself to your will.
I bet Hitler felt like that too, right up until the end in the bunker.
Remember, every members of the vast loose coalition bound only by a dislike of Trump - people who have no command structure, don’t know each other, don’t even necessarily live in America - is 100% responsible for everything anyone else says about Trump. Police, who have a command structure, salary and union have no responsibility at all for what other police do.
regardless of duration, people will be focused on him the entire time. his health, etc. and not the virus in the rest of the country. not his $750 dollar tax bill. not kids in cages ( long forgotten already .) not his support of white supremacists. and most definitely not racial justice.
the narcissist always wins the attention game. the only way is not to play. but then he’s president, so we all feel obligated to play
She’s also just incorrect that only Republicans have gotten the virus. So, just wrong on many levels.
On it rolls. Trump is a one-man superspreading event.
If I was writing a novel, the plot twist would be that the Speaker of the House somehow uses her office to ascend to the presidency, and thwarts certain lame duck intentions.
There’s a fantasy ending worthy of a song!!
So many bullshit memes like this start with a wrong premise. Its infuriating.
“Isn’t it funny how…” is a red flag that the rest of the statement is false.
And also, it’s rarely funny.
Sort of like “I’m not racist, but” you know the rest of the sentence is going to be racist as hell.
