Not sure how that theory makes sense. Why would he pre-record a message at the White House saying he was getting treatment at Walter Reed? If they believed the President was about to get too sick to speak on-camera then wouldn’t they just rush him to Walter Reed ASAP and record the message there?

None, other than the backdrop looking more consistent with the White House than WRMC. Beige walls at WRMC.
Contingencies. His team knew he was at risk with all his running around with little to no precautions. There’s nothing in the video that has ANY specifics. None at all. Even the part about Melania is all in the tail end of the video so that it could be easily edited if she didn’t get it at the same time.
That video could have been recorded in July. Hell, it could have been recorded in April.

“The one in case you go to Walter Reed to get treated for COVID.”
“I won’t get COVID. I’ve got good genes.”
“I know, sir. But remember when you went to Walter Reed for the you know what and the press heard and raised a stink? This would be good cover for that if it happens again. Plus, it would make you look sympathetic, under the circumstances.”
“Ok, let’s make it quick. I have a speech in Milwaukee.”

It would be totally out of character for Trump to go along with someone else’s plan to film a contingency video like that before he got sick. One of the few things he hates more than planning ahead is being told what to do by people he believes are stupider than he is.
Besides, this is the kind of conspiracy that would A) provide little benefit to Trump or his team, and B) would be relatively easy to expose. For example, any one of a number of people at the White House could blab about the existence of the pre-recorded video, and any one of a number of people at Walter Reed could blab that Trump definitely didn’t film the video there as claimed.
You say “the background looks more like the White House than Walter Reed.” If that’s true then wouldn’t one of the thousands of people who are familiar with the interiors of those buildings be likely to call Trump out on it? “Oh look, here’s a pic of that exact wall taken during Obama’s time in office.”
And remember, this administration is full of leakers. Just because they lie constantly doesn’t mean they’re any good at it.

I’m not saying that I know anything. I’m just saying that it sounds and looks pre-recorded. Since when did the administration do anything while considering that it was easily disprovable? They get caught in this kind of shit all the time. And the benefit is to buy some time if Trump is truly out of it - sedated or on a ventilator- for him to get better and still blow it off as no big deal.
Heck, they did it yesterday - by failing to disclose that he was on oxygen at the WH and had a high fever with SOB. And they got caught almost immediately.
