If I wanted to waste my money on sending him flowers, yup, that would be on the card.
I’ve only needed steriods for a respiratory infection once and just a single shot. I distinctly remember the doctor explaining I would feel a lot better by the next day, but I should rest as much as possible. If I didn’t, I would be worse off than before I came in.
Different infection and different steriod, but I supect the effect is the same.
Yeah, when I almost collapsed, my doctor was telling me to get total bedrest for a month.
True story: I once had a manager with a very domineering type-A personality who ended up being afflicted with brain cancer.
She had surgery, and her docs were as optimistic as they could be; provided that she rested and took enough time to recuperate properly.
She was back to work a week later. After having major brain surgery.
Within a month, her tumor came back with a vengeance, and her main doc asked her point blank:
“Do you want to die at your desk? Because that’s what’s going to end up happening.”
She reluctantly stopped working, and she died a few weeks later at home, surrounded by her famly.
Different maladies, but the lesson is still the same; full recovery takes rest, patience and time.
But listen, that would be weak. So weak.
/s, obvs
Barb also thought she could bully her illness into submission the way she was used to doing to her subordinates.
Turns out, Barb was dead wrong.
This man is fucking insane.
YOU HAVE COVID!
Of all the power and things, etc Trump has, these are not among them!
As always, it’s the most vulnerable that suffer the most.
Let them sue and win, god willing.
And any responsible care giver would use bandage scissors to cut that tie off his neck. Don’t you know wearing a tight tie reduces blood flow to the brain by 30%?
Interesting: I did a search for the Japanese article from the early 2000s, and all I got was the recent German study that showed a functional decrease of 7.5%. But the Japanese study wasn’t an acute study; it was chronic. And the decrease was massive.
Nailed it!
Better check with the Russian embassy to see if they have any positives. Just say’n.
Any decent undertaker can do that.
Those studies go back at least to the '80s. I know because I used them to “loosen my tie” at work all through the 80’s and 90’s Ridiculous practice…at that same job, our Honeywell HVAC serviceman was required to wear a tie while working. Some of our systems had exposed belts and pulleys that would have been at home in “Modern Times”. I used to tell him he couldn’t work with the tie on but he was very reluctant to remove it … company rules
