Trump lawyer: he didn't rape Ivana because you "cannot rape your spouse"

This is kind of a tangent, but what she did at Lucent and Bell Labs should also be noted, too -

I think they may have hired the same woman! My ex also tells me that she offered him drugs and tried to sleep with him, but he is a compulsive liar so I have no idea if it’s true. Drugs would explain a lot of her behavior though.

eeeeeeeeeeek

Glad you’ve got that personality disorder behind you.

If people - “WE” - were more involved collectively, this wouldn’t happen.
But “WE” like to gawk at shit rather than participate.

Speech is disproportionately given to the ultrawealthy and powerful.

The media, our gatekeepers for organization promote these shit-candidates, not us.

I am involved at the local level. My only suggestion nationally, is to set worthless internet petition sites like Change.org on fire and urinate on the ashes and destroy the altars of slacktivism.

None of this implies that “We” deserve what we are given.

No, this one was a man. And an old enough man that he should have known better, since he had apparently been practicing law for decades. Just a spoiled old guy who was used to lazy work and easy money. Don’t dare to take his cookie away! Or, at least, don’t put your hands near his mouth. XD

I was representing myself, so the guy assumed that I would go along with just anything, and was pushing advice to my ex which was not even remotely legal. It would created more finance and custody problems for both of us.

On reflection, fuck fear of the police and chilling of civil rights, I was being a bed wetting a-hole when I said that.

You feel the same way about Al Franken?

Come to the wine cooler… we need to drink down this chardonnay so we can put on the Cabernet bottle…

not if right wing donors ( and this includes people paying those half-million dollar speaking fees ) want to normalize the crazy side of conversation. [ an independent candidate works just as well: better, even, since they can stick around till the end. ]

there’s two aspects to it: tossing in crazy ideas to see what floats ( a kind of natural selection of right-wing ideology ), and when that fails: allowing the gop candidate to appear moderate by refuting the too extreme positions.

it wouldn’t work as well if there was good campaign finance regulation, but as it is: if you have access to billions, millions are… trump change.

Which is how the Kochs legitimized General Ripper in everyday life. The Birchers used to be the laughingstock. A few million here and there pushed them to modern “legitimacy”.

Yet people tune and and gawk at it.
I know that not everyone deserves this guy, that’s not the point.

And yet you are here, posting in a thread about him.

Do you deserve him as President?

I actually had completely forgotten he was ever elected to anything. So I’d say I kind of do, since I apparently blocked that information out.

Sheldon, is that you? It all fits now!

For fear of Donald Trump’s prowess and that of his legal council, I am going to refrain from using the words “Donald Trump” and “rape” in the same sentence. I will also refrain from associating Donald Trump with rape by saying things like “Of all the rapey candidates for president, Donald Trump is the rapiest.” I will also refrain from expressions such as “as American as rape and Donald Trump”

On a personal note, I would hate for Donald Trump’s good name to be tarnished by it being associated with rape. It would be a great disservice to Donald Trump if people were to think of rape when they think of Donald Trump. I applaud the great work of Donald Trump’s lawyers in fighting for the cause of Donald Trump and the cause for marital rape.

In conclusion, Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape Donald Trump rape. Thank you for your time.

P.S. Please note the the only sentence that doesn’t use the word “rape” is because it doesn’t use the words “Donald Trump”.

I hear Ellen Pao is looking for a new job these days. That’s a way to bolster his “not racist or sexist” platform and troll the entire Reddit community while he’s at it.

Well, I mean, just having to be within proximity of the blowhard has got to be some kind of transgression against human decency. We don’t need to elevate the vileness of encountering Trump to rape for it to be beyond unpleasant, and well into experiences people would label as “an ordeal”, “harrowing” or “deeply scarring for the rest of my life.”

It was good for me. Drunk posting gets out of hand too easily, and it was nice to be reminded so pointedly of the fact that impulsively running my mouth is less than attractive.
