The court has already ruled that they’re owed the money, so it’s not a matter of suing for it but a matter of petitioning the court to enforce the judgement.

I had a friend who won a judgement against her rental management company, and when they didn’t pay, she contacted the constable. He broke into their office over the weekend and grabbed enough computer equipment to satisfy the judgement.

All of Trump’s lawyers that he’s not paying are going to be so pissed when they see his opponents’ lawyers getting paid by him first.
Politics and morality aside, it’s baffling why anyone with a choice would work for Trump with his history of turning on people and not paying them what he owes them.

The defendants can file with the NYS Sheriff’s Department to enforce the judgment. This can involve seizing property.
