As @ElQuesero says, “Scarface” was Capone’s most famous nickname decades before the unrelated Al Pacino movie came out—but Capone himself loathed the name and would have happily carried out terrible acts of violence against anyone who dared refer to him that way publicly.

Capone’s preferred nickname was “Snorky.” Really.
