IIRC, Russian propaganda said the Ukrainian army lacked Russian manly manliness and therefore would be easily defeated. This propaganda went suddenly quiet around a week after the start of the invasion. Turns out there’s more to an army’s effectiveness than chest-beating. Who knew?
