I don’t run into those folks too much anymore around here.
But if I did I’d just start listing out all the problems Trump has gone through since 2016:
Trump University,
Trump Foundation,
Two impeachments,
Campaign finance violations/porn-star hush money,
Tax fraud,
Defamation/battery/rape,
Insurrection,
Election interference,
Espionage.
There’s a lot more you can throw in, like all his pre-2016 financial problems (multiple failed businesses and bankruptcies.)
The true believers will never turn their back on him, but you can make them squirm.

This post should have mentioned that he’s not required to report to the grand jury. He’s given an opportunity to go and explain himself before their deliberations. Any “arrest and indictment” can happen only after the grand jury concludes and the prosecutor acts on their report.

That list is so exhausting.
Why does anyone want to live that way? His entire life is creating problems for himself. He can’t possibly be happy with all the legal and financial stuff occupying so much time and effort.
Just living a clean legal life is so much easier. I don’t understand why people like him exist.

I would imagine, knowing their client, that his lawyers are screaming at him to stay as far away from the grand jury as he can get in the confines of the United States. [Or even better, to take a “vacation” far away in a country that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the United States.] Even if they’re doing that, though, the thought that reporting to the grand jury means increased publicity for Trump means he’s going to completely ignore his lawyers and, more likely than not, incriminate himself even further.
He’s in a hole but rather than stopping digging he’s calling for more dynamite to deepen the hole even further!

He’s in a constant state of committing a crime which somehow overlaps onto the enforcement of the previous crime and likely won’t stop until a Big Mac makes the ultimate sacrifice or he’s jailed and completely muted.

Except he’s been complete trash for decades. Growing up he was a joke. The whole point of The Apprentice was that it was over glitzed fakeness; reality with a bad spray tan and glitter. He was a person who chain failed at business giving YOU a chance to learn how to do business.
He’s qualified as a successful businessman the same way David S. Pumpkins is scary.
