I think it may be that Jared will do a fine job working on Middle East peace.
The plan is for Jared to sell Netanyahu and Salman on a peace plan similar to Israel/Egypt. Probably only take a 10 billion aid package in the form of US weapons, maybe even nukes if Iran has them. Israel get one enemy off it’s back. Trump is heralded as a master peacemaker, wins 2020, and gets to fight his “big one” in Iran, with the Saudi’s get an ally in the coming Sunni/Shia civil war. Let them fight it out, the US and Russia will sell oil to the rest of the world.

Oh, that bit is easy - he didn’t, he’s president (the president doesn’t have a security clearance - the whole system comes from the office of the president in the first place). How he got to be president is different mystery (with a depressing answer).
