He would maintain his self righteous tone by telling them “you won’t be laughing when xyz crazy shit happens and I’m proven right”.
It is a fun way to diffuse the tension for everyone else.

Reminds me of Rorschach from the Watchmen, who doesn’t know who his father is, but his mother tells him they disagreed about Truman as reason why he’s not around, and Rorschach contrives a story that maybe his father worked for Truman.

Holy shit, it’s same guy in all these clips.
Somebody should start following his social media accounts and be ready to warn his neighbors, because at some point he’s going get tired of waiting for the wrath of god, and just take matters into his own hands.
