Trump supporter warns of "taco trucks on every corner" if he loses

They’re a real concern. There’s dozen of them.

Like I needed any MORE reasons to not vote for Trump? Anyway, I thought Trump loved tacos? Or at least taco bowls …from Trump Tower…oh, and Hispanics.

I would LOVE a truck that featured all kinds of interpretations of dolmas. Hell, I’d probably break the bank eating there every day.

Is a fight i’d rather not have a stake in. Where is the line between civics and Stockholm syndrome?
Where did that screaming in Sweden video go?
Tangentially, just over a week ago wrote and recorded a song with the lyric “shawarma bouquet”.
The world is strange.

Come back…that’s all changed! Plenty of authentic Mexican places now. Not Taco Bill’s - avoid that/them like it’s a Trump supporter rally.

I have to say that this is the first election-related story that has me excited about the vote.

Still thinking about hiding under a rock until then, though.

Oh, they’re playing the long game! (The very, very, very long game.) Heck, those taco trucks are probably already there, but they’re like stealth or something.

That article is hilarious, from taking everything at face value - almost (one on every corner is ridiculous - obviously it would be one per intersection!) - to sanity checking estimates of the number of existing taco trucks, trying to calculate the number of intersections, and considering the fates of taco trucks at remote Kansas intersections once the number of eateries - and trucks - in America has multiplied manyfold. Really, I wish this would be done with all the statements of Trump and his supporters - because they’re all this nutty.

But they’re rarely more than vague emotional appeals with no actual numbers or other data attached. When actual details are given, even ones as vague as “on every corner”, people pounce. I can actually only think of a literal handful of actual semi-detailed things to come out of the Trump camp, including:
The Wall
Taco Trucks
Deporting Mexicans
Banning Muslims

And I can’t think of any more (and, no, “Make America Great Again” doesn’t count).

On the topic of The Wall, John Oliver did do that analysis:

How come nobody’s used that gif for “mansplaining?”

Forgo the animal style on the burger and put it on your fries instead. That’s my preferred method.

gyros is nearly always pork, döner kebab, uh, not that often : )

while shawerma is fine I’m a fan of dürüm döner, similar filling but instead of pide bread rolled in the thin and extremly tasty yufka bread.

I’d say 75% of the time I’ve had gyros (in America, anyway), they’ve been a beef/lamb combo; the rest of the time, pork.

Does exist, this is one of my favorite restaurants:

I’ve always seen (in the U.S.) either the beef/lamb combo or chicken gyros. I wonder if the latter is actually shawarma. (I haven’t gone so far as to actually ask, but I’m not sure how many of these places have actually been owned or run by Greeks.)

I can’t remember seeing pork gyros (in the U.S.), unless al pastor counts.
