I don’t like relying on the sanity of other people’s dangerously overpowered people; but arguably anyone who gets into a Cuban missile crisis type standoff with Trump is completely mis-playing the situation.
Guy loses his shit and the drop of a hat; and is plenty vindictive; but appears to be only incrementally better than your average puppy at resisting flattery.

Someone on NPR’s On Point this morning called Abe and trump “transactional” leaders, and that edged my teeth a bit. AND they’re headed down to Florida to enjoy the backdoor fuckery of Mar-A-GrandScrew, so I’m sure we can all expect great things.

edit: I know, subs and stealth bombers etc…but it’s still a difficult proposition, given that most other nations are either prepared, or are protected by nations who have had many years to come up with counter measures.

All the talk about him having a mental illness of some kind doesn’t convince me. He sounds, to me, like a guy who’s in WAY over his head, but he wants to appear like he actually knows the stuff, so he blusters, derails, switches subject gears regularly to keep the listener completely confused. He’s, at base, a liar, so he rarely says anything of consequence or clear meaning because it could be used against him at some future point. The man couldn’t utter a truth, especially if that truth went against his own internal truth, if his life depended upon it.
