Umm. I don’t think they have to mislead him much. He hasn’t read any libertarian texts; he knows zip about Christianity, but he is the rotting fish at the center of all the excuse layers of libertarian goals and evangelical prosperity gospel.
He’s their muad’dib of intolerance, racism, xenophobia, misogyny, etc: He knows without having learned. He’s their unspoken dark end game made [orange] flesh.
He can read his base, but he has no sympathy for them. Tell him it’ll hurt undeserving poor people and leave more money for the rich, and he’ll be fine with that.
