Stupid rhetorical question from a stupid man. Trump is the only president in history who is thoroughly documented both on video and his own social media accounts saying things like that about American troops.
is not a competent person in my opinion, would destroy this country and would destroy this economy – should immediately apologize for the reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric that they are talking right now," adding: “It undermines science.”
Is there ever a time when he calls someone a name that it isn’t actually something he is guilty of? I am starting to wonder if he wasn’t actually born in Kenya…
Umm… this is a new one. Of all the things Trump has said, him not actually having any idea what the word “liberal” means (beyond it being an insult for him to use) has actually surprised me.
It’s been that way since the 1980s at the very least. I was a kid at the time but I remember how Reagan and others world constantly throw this term around as something meant to be derisive rather than descriptive.
(Conservative has no real meaning either, but unlike liberalism being twisted to meaningless by the right, nothing about so-called conservatives seems to actually adhere to any principles of conservatism anymore.)
Even the President never said it, a lot of Americans find it believable that he’d say such a thing. It’s because he has a serious problem with his reputation. Something he could have corrected decades ago. All he had to do was fake being a decent human being in front of other people.
There are plenty of people who do not include socialists in the definition of liberal, but that would be far too nuanced for Trump. Even then Harris isn’t the most liberal person in California congress.
There is a political position that they do adhere to though.
Actual conservatives can seem progressive in comparison.
