Trump won't pay Rudy Giuliani's legal bills

Since Rudy is facing ethics violations and possible disbarment, it could be argued that he is not entitled to legal fees and perhaps could even be sued by Trump for legal malpractice. Which would be hilarious.

I worked for one of those architects 2 summers during college. The one who was mentioned when Tim Kaine was introduced as HRC’s running mate.

My theory on trump and Rudy is either trump was a confidential informant on some mob work for Rudy while he was DA, and/or their combined histories with said mob about money laundering and where the bodies are buried (or more likely encased in concrete building foundations) have made them the most toxic case of mutual co-dependency ever.

Yeah, Rudy is going to be well and truly fucked after this, and deserve it. No wonder Rudy has been groveling for a pardon. Is the FBI looking at his role in whipping up the crowd in DC last week? You bet your sweet bippy they are.

Guessing the pardon train will start tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if Rudy makes the cut.

Trump was upset generally that virtually nobody is defending him

If you don’t know who is the asshole in the room, YOU’RE THE ASSHOLE.

It gives me pleasure to think of Rudy actually standing in a long, long line and dead last.

That was probably the plan, but now that his plan has failed and the rats are fleeing, who the hell knows what will happen. [Expletive deleted] is so vindictive at the slightest offence, in his current state, he could easily decide to let them all go hang. I mean, he’s always used his loyalists as human body shields to protect himself, and he’s got no one left.

ETA: possibly he even understands his position is still somewhat precarious. Pence has said he doesn’t want to do the deed, and McConnell has arranged the schedule to avoid the trial in the senate. But that is predicated on him not doing anything to make Mitch more mad, and Mitch was apparently pretty mad about the whole angry mob thing.

Yet so many small business owners still support trump. I just don’t get it. Maybe it’s the whole it doesn’t matter until it affects/happens to me that is so prevalent in the GOP.

“Here, have a couple of pardons. And some of these paddles with the ball connected by an elastic. It’s good to be king [while it lasts].”

I guess his integrity’s not fetching the prices he expected these days. Too bad so sad.

I doubt he (trump, that is) would qualify for a PD-I believe you have to prove poverty.

The eventual class action suit will be glorious.

I beg to differ. Lawyers work on either an hourly/daily rate, or a percentage of the award (not relevant here).

That said, Rudy was the biggest fool in the world if he trusted Trump to pay him after service was rendered.

My understanding is that “disbarment” in the State of New York just means you don’t belong to a particular lawyer-club. You can still practice law, but you no longer have a club vouching for your non-stink (by lawyer standards, anyway).

He was not pitch perfect. He installed the city’s emergency command center in a building that had already once been targeted with a terrorist attack.
