What reason do you have to believe he’s not entirely earnest in his views, as well as propagating them for his financial gain? It does not need to be one or the other. It can be both. Even despite his claims in court about how no reasonable person could believe this to be true - that could just be a legal strategy to get him off the hook.
But at the end of the day, his “true” intentions hardly matter if they have the same effects. So, even if he’s lying or telling the truth about his beliefs, the outcome is the same.
The one question I keep asking, that GQP’s never answer, is if was a left wing operation by whoever, why don’t Congress people on the right not want an investigation? They don’t want to waste the government’s time and money?
