Update to earlier post: Power went out just before Ian hit. we and the house are OK. Lost most our our trees. We have a generator. Cell service was out until this morning. Using USB tethering for connection. Lots of damage in the area and considering how big Ian was relatively few deaths. (No it was not the biggest or most deadly.) Gas lines are nuts due to the power not lack of gas. Most folks are being nice, but there are still assholes. I keep in mind that the worst storms can bring out the best neighbors. Politicians are starting to piss on each. Biden is due Wednesday and I doubt he’ll throw rolls of paper towels. Thanks for all the kind words.
