What’s happened at twitter is the opposite of “going woke”… it’s literally gone fascist under Musk.

And looking at various Twitter home pages, it’s even worse than I realized - I’m seeing promoted tweets every 2-3 tweets on some of them. (A lot of crypto scams.) Others, not so much - there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

Are you telling me that providing a safe space for Tucker Carlson and Andrew Tate to spout their poison ISN’T a sure-fire path to success?

A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft Teams fell over for a few hours, and I had to play ‘chase the status update’. Decided to check in on their Twitter feed, usual minimal info followed by people complaining about them (rightfully).
Then below that feed were suggested tweets - at least 6 of which were unblurred porn, both video and stills. I’ve never encountered this before, needless to say I will look anywhere but a company’s twitter feed for updates in future.

Screenshoot and send to Microsoft, maybe? Or just tweet about the novelty; they’d probably react faster.

I went back to check if it was still happening a few days later, and couldn’t duplicate the result - so tricky to prove.
Just another data point in the “Twitter is soooo wrecked” file…
