Two teens carve into 5,000-year-old rock carving, just trying to help

Hope they hit them with sticks. Hard.

I have a special hatred for people ruining priceless archeological artifacts. Those things survived thousands or tens of thousand of years to teach us about ourselves just for some idiot destroying our common heritage in an blink of the eye. That’s a lesson in itself but one that has been taught an awful lot lately.

If you carve your name into a mountain today, that’s a dick move. But if you did it 1000 years ago, that’s historically significant.

This is why my uncle hoards glass soda bottles.

Someday they will be a trove of priceless artifacts.
