His message is on point for his goals, to destroy any faith in the free press. It would be nice if the free press would ramp up calling out Fascist Cheeto on his bullshit, while they still exist. Being friendly with him, or not pointing out his lies as lies, is a no-win situation. Even if they all lined up and started kissing his ass, he would still undermine them at every turn.

Sigh.
