Having Huawei in the party might seem to be rather Daily Mail-ish, but if you’re familiar with the civlib record of BB, you’ll know that this isn’t that.
No large Chinese corporation is free of government involvement. Chinese government agencies have been proven to have multiple units aggressively hacking western systems. Thus Huawei, with their reach and excellence, is definitely a candidate for a moment of “oh-oh” in this context.
