It’s not about whether it’s constitutional. It’s about hurting people. It’s about making life more difficult in every way possible. It’s about making the public hate you. It’s about making marginalized communities expend resources they don’t have to defend themselves and if they can get it overturned a few years down the line - well - we fucked them over in the very mean time.
