I mentioned this before- his political opinions appear to have gone on the most boring and clichéd arc possible. From a Human rights activist vaguely associated with the Labour party as a young man, he has steadily drifted rightward as he’s gotten older, going to being outspokenly centrist in middle age, before slipping into brexity harrumphing at the modern world from his retirement home in the Carribean in recent years.
