So, having a huge majority and being in power for ages they do what politicians do: cash in. But the Tories have a nice wrinkle to the age old graft: abolish the standards committee so that nobody can call them on it. Didnât Jonson fall foilnof that when he used donors money to do up his flat?
If you had a constitution by the way you could apply for judicial review which would likely find the lack of an appeal rendered the decisions invalid/the order creating it ultra vires.

Indeed. The remit of the department seems to be promising money to all underprivileged regions but only giving it out to those constituencies that voted Tory.
It is genuinely insane that there arenât daily mass protests about stuff like that. I cannot imagine politics so blatantly craven in similar European countries.
