I misread that as Dorries being kicked out of government and i thought christmas had come early but no such luck.
Itâs almost like they are to a person pusillanimous sophists who donât believe anything but will say whatever words they think are expedient at the time, and therefore can never be trusted on anything, ever.
I have seen sieves that leak less than this story.
Yet more lockdown violations by Boris and co. come to light
Gaaaah! I get upset by the concept of Grantham just cos sheâs from there. I donât need to see pictures of her!
This one wasnât a social gathering because âthey are in suits.â
One of the previous wasnât a party because there âwas no alcoholâ (there was wine in this one).
Can you tell the difference?
Probably the only time i will like a post quoting Thatcher the Milk Snatcherâs words in order to highlight the hypocrisy of the Tory party. Where is her statue these days? I heard they were thinking of modding it to have a detachable head because it kept getting decapitated.
I used to stop for a break in Grantham on my regular drives between London and Hull. It wasnât too bad. FWIW, this was during the Thatcher years, I donât know what the place is like today.
Everyone I speak to through work from there is lovely. Mind you, as most of the people I speak to are nurses or other NHS staff, thatâs unsurprising. It just reminds me of Thatcher, which pisses me off.
I hope you donât feel the same about Boris Johnsonâs birthplace, which is a wonderful town.

Unsafe Space âbrings diversity of opinion to Radio 4â
The BBC is piloting a new comedy show to combat the perception that all its comedians are from the âwokeâ liberal left.
Unsafe Space will feature a number of comedians linked to the Comedy Unleashed âfree-speechâ comedy nights and championed by pressure group The Campaign For Common Sense.â
So a comedy show that will be off the air, as itâs not fucking funny?
I posted this over in the Magical History Tour thread, but I think this belongs here too⌠itâs from 2018âŚ
She talks about her time as an MP, her US tour, Bloody Sunday (January 30, 1972 in Northern Ireland), as well as some more current issues such as immigration and refugees and the rise of fascism.
Nice to see that 2022 is starting off with a sick sense of humour.
