The Conservatives have just lost Canterbury to Labour so I expect her own party will be asking her to resign too.

The last time there wasn’t a Conservative MP from there was 1835.

Paul Nuttall has lost, rather badly, not surprisingly.

What an unbelievable turnaround for labour. Who’d have thought we’d be here after the party tried to oust him. Twice!

Your problem seems to be conflating the words ‘sin’ and ‘hate’, they’re not the same thing. And I’m not even talking about ‘hate the sin not the sinner’, not all Christian conceptions of sin even go as far as hating the sin.

…single out one or two subgroups for specific mention by name, that is pretty good evidence for the bigotry.

The people singling out groups of people by name here aren’t Tim Farron, he’s never brought it up.

Amber Rudd keeps asking for recounts.

Is she really? Last i saw of her tonight she was refusing to do an interview at her counting place.

ETA: It seems there is a recount in progress.

The Lib Dems may win Fife North East by only one or two votes.

Labour hold Batley & Spen. That was Jo Cox’s seat before her brutal murder.

192 women have been elected so far, 1 more than the previous record from 2015 (which was 29.4% of all MPs).
