Sadly, not at al shocking. Projection is, seemingly, the one and only tool in the right wing tool box. Well, ok, projection, lying and terror.

Sadly this shit is extremely common.
I remember someone in HS sharing she was getting “harassed” at work at a small eatery, and pretty much everyone else in the group saying the same (each a different job). The common thread seemed to be independent restaurants owned by “family friendly” local businessmen.
I’m glad I worked for a national chain where they just stuck to wage theft 
(Oh you didn’t do [thing I never mentioned]? Hmm if you can’t get your work done in 8 hours I might have to let you go"… so many kids fell for that shit and worked off the clock.)
