i find this funny at an extra meta level. tends to be nothing goes wrong in any movie ( unless, of course, everything goes wrong. ) that perfect plan, the character so smart. well, yeah… lucky the script was written to make things work out that way.

this has got both. everything goes wrong, just as they expected.

God I hate that movie. It actually seems to trigger me it’s so relentlessly horrible – and I normally love romantic comedies. Is there some kind of subliminal hypno-track in the cheesy score that makes otherwise sane people like this cynical, misogynistic, pandering, fat-shaming, manipulative, contrived and smug load of garbage?

“What a strikingly attractive woman,” I thought. “Who is she?” To the Googles!
