It’s the impotent distress call of someone who realises they can’t just get away with their racism any more, but also can’t control their damn mouth.
A bit like those who bemoan that comedy is too PC when what they really mean is “my brand of punch down comedy doesn’t sell enough tickets any more and I can’t shut up about it like I’m the victim here”.
