A++++ would watch again and again
And all was good in the world.
Awesome.
I’ve been tempted to do similar things to people putting themselves and others at risk of death, but I’ve refrained after realizing how many guns there are in my country.
I’m pretty sure the guy in the blue tee shirt told the attendant about the smoker.
This is one of the best things I have ever seen
I was not expecting that to be so cathartic.
I have never argued with strangers about anything when visiting your country for that very reason. I’m not sure what the moral of that story is.
“An armed society is a polite dangerous society.”
The interesting thing about that video is that the smoker doesn’t even appear to be filling his car. Why would you pull up next to a gas pump in order to just get out and smoke?
That’s a good question. I have seen people do that when there are no parking spots and they are going into the gas station convenience store to buy something. Driver pretends to be getting gas but never actually pumps any while passenger goes into the store for cigarettes/beer.
He got free baking soda with that fill-up if that extinguisher is PKP. It’s hard to tell though, it could be straight CO2, which would be quite painful.
Yeah I do wonder if someone got sued or fired because of this.
Some people say stupidity should be painful…
Haven’t we moved past this because of Mythbusters? A cigarette has never been shown to ignite gasoline at a gas station. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10694-013-0380-3
If all we know of the gentleman is his predilection for smoking in front of gas pumps, it may be unfair to extrapolate and say he’s also the sort of person that would block pumps by having long-winded discussions in front of them either before or after pumping gas. But there he is. It’s fortunate that he’s being conditioned not to perpetuate that sort of behavior. It’s kind of like teaching cats to not go on counters by spraying them with water when they do so. ETA: It may also be a way to generate business for a car wash attached to the gas station.
My assumption was that the fuel cap was located on the driver’s side of the vehicle, and that’s why the driver pulled in so far away from the pumps on the passengers side.
And, remember when there were signs to not talk on the cellphone at the pump?
