Watch Canadian QAnoners attempt to place police officers under arrest

Stupid is as QAnoners do…

Oh, they already know that, but they save the “concierge” service for white serial killers, white mass shooters, and white supremacists.

Alberta and Saskatchewan would like a word…

Here in Alberta - my brother in law has been infected by this blight. He now identifies as a Republican American living in Canada. He makes frequent trips to the US to hunt and purchase anti-Biden paraphernalia- including t-shirts for my young nephew.

I had an opportunity to ask him questions about his beliefs and as you’d suspect - really can’t supply factual responses. It’s like his brain has been indoctrinated ala Clockwork Orange. He gets pretty testy when I probe too much as I suspect it collides with his world view (which is conveniently that it’s all everyone else’s fault).

He had a significant head injury many years ago and was never the sharpest knife - so I’m chalking it up to whatever critical thinking centers in the brain have simply closed shop.

I try not to hold it against him but sad to see my nephew being inundated with ignorance.

Hockey sweater, jeez!

In Peterborough? If the old Frantics song is correct, if they don’t must be from Trent.

Wow, that’s wild! The lurch to the right that Alberta has taken since around the time of the Wild Rose Party has been alarming. Actually “identifying” as a US Republican is really bizarre though.

My dad is there and since he found Facebook several years ago, he has become almost impossible to talk to. As soon as the topic turns at all political, he can only speak in Fuck Trudeau memes. Like, he doesn’t realize that’s what he’s doing, but I can hear it in his talking points. It’s like someone speaking in Doge or LOLCAT. You can tell.

He used to have actual political ideas that we would discuss. Now he only frames things in terms of what he hates. He hates Trudeau for unspecified reasons. He hates immigrants for unspecified reasons. He hates the carbon tax but has no answer for how he would prefer to address climate change, etc. His views are defined only by what he doesn’t want, which is really unhealthy and totally useless.

My neighbour in BC does this, too. I realized not long after I moved in that almost every single thing he said was either a meme, YouTube clip, or something else along those lines. All he seems to do, though, is smoke pot and watch YouTube on his phone. I’m not surprised he just parrots back what he spends his free time taking in.

I’m really amazed at how many grown adults have made hating Trudeau their entire personality.

Same thing with one of my former friends in Vancouver. Couldn’t talk to him any more. All anti-Trudeau, anti-vax all the time. I wish I could have saved him, but it was just so exhausting to talk to him and nothing was getting through, so I cut and run.

Sounds like her followers are also off their meds.

I went through that one with my oldest and best friends. I’m still shocked that it happened because he’s such a smart guy (like really, really smart).

These days, though, he’s openly posting about his admiration for Trump (as a Canadian, no less) and other nonsense. I also wish I could done something, but I know from experience the only person he’ll listen to is himself (besides whoever managed to suck him into the MAGA world). I haven’t fully removed myself from things, yet, but I’m sure that day is coming.

I was curious what was going on then so I googled. Apparently some Americans were being unneighborly.

This reminds me of the simulation hypothesis. Maybe they feel they can crash the system and force a reboot, if they can find the exact right code.

First thing that came to my mind too. Good job :+1:

That cop did a sweet pull-shirt-over-opponents-head move like in a hockey fight, good opening salvo!

Ugh. I hate what Windows System Administration has done to conspiracy theories. Time was, when something was wrong with your computer, something was actually wrong. Rebooting would just reproduce the problem. Now we get this kind of conspiracy theory.

I am glad to see some qnuts arrested (very gently, I might add), and not BIPOC people for a change. Though am unhappy to hear secondhand that First Nations people are still not getting a fair shake.

Conspiracy cult is a hell of a drug.

I don’t know what sort of naive twit needs to be told this, but the reason Queen Romana Didulo’s followers failed to arrest the police is,
Yes, Queen Didulo IS queen of Canada… everywhere EXCEPT Ontario.

I was anointed King of Ontario, not by God in a dream, but by the entire production cast of The Red Green Show, Due South, and the 1983 animated film, Rock and Rule, Canada’s answer to the 1981 film, Heavy Metal…
In a dream.

QAnon cannot make Ontario police stand down in the name of the exiled queen’s name.

Twits.

Sorry, but we aren’t polite. We’re passive aggressive. The sooner people realize this the better.
