Just a reminder, though, they aren’t. A 10 year old boy was just mauled and drug into the wood by a black bear in Connecticut. Keep your distance! I guess yelling at them through a Ring camera is the way to go.

In that video of the Russian family with the bear, it seems the dog in the background is the only one with common sense. Holy catz.

Friendly PSA for anyone who doesn’t know: in the shoulder seasons when bears are either preparing for hibernation or waking from hibernation, take down your bird feeders at night.
You’re protecting not only yourself, your neighbors, pets and families, you’re protecting these bears.
